A multipurpose complex

Our work for the Coralville, Iowa Radisson Hotel earned an ASID Silver Award for Contract-Hospitality Design. This project began as a renovation of Coralville’s Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center. The gold, red, and green color scheme was discarded, and the color palette changed to match Radisson brand standards, using Durkan custom carpet.

We created a new entrance to the hotel, as well as a pre-function area that is enjoying new popularity in the community because it is adjacent to the hotel’s delightful restaurant and bar.

It serves as a great venue for weddings, conventions, and holiday brunches. The pre-function area soars to 20 feet high, creating the perfect space for a large scale modular multicolored hanging sculpture art piece display by 3Form. Explore our blog for more content like this.

The ballroom’s LED lighting can be customized through a palette of colors showcased on art deco panels, fitting the mood of each event.

Contemporary fireplaces in this area and in the lobby add a cozy touch on wintery days.
