Grand Island Holiday Inn Express

Our work for the Grand Island Holiday Inn Express earned an ASID Gold Award for Contract-Hospitality Design. Taking its color scheme inspiration from the local environment,  the interior spaces echo the colors of yellow cottonwood leaves in fall against a cobalt sky. A coved ceiling with a chandelier adds drama while the fireplace adds warmth and comfort. The amber glow of art glass lamps complements the entry.

In the hotel dining area, art by Katrina Methot Swanson is featured, carrying the color scheme through the foyer to the dining area with a custom rug.

Swanson’s three art pieces create a beautiful counterpoint to the custom rug and the color scheme of the foyer. The stone fire place invites hotel guests to relax in the cozy atmosphere.

Doubling as a gathering spot after hours, the dining area features comfortable furniture and a relaxing atmosphere for hotel guests.

A typical guest room is shown above. The bright color scheme creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for guests traveling for pleasure or business.

A functional guest room bathroom vanity features ample counter space. Shelves below allow room to store personal items out of the way.

The pool area is an oasis of relaxation with lovely neutral colors and mosaic tiles chosen to accent the area.
